My name is Ella and I am a strong, independent, 20-year-old woman. I decided not to get involved with a Corporate Sponsor, although I am absolutely thankful for all the offers for support and the corporate vision for my company, buuuuttt… I do need to do this on my own… for Divina, my mother. I promised my mother that I would remain anonymous as we did for such a long time. My goal is not to be famous but for my abilities to be showcased through the Ella Divina™ brand to gain the genuine recognition that my mother and I had before it all changed. It is time for me to share my talents with the rest of the world and gain the admiration that we always have had. Join me on this exciting adventure that we’re about to embark on. Our logo was meticulously thought out and it took several weeks to develop. We knew that Ella Divina was going to be the name of the brand but how to make it encompass everything Ella stands for was the difficult part. As in all of our products, attention to detail is of the utmost importance and we knew that every time you see the Ella Divina™ brand, quality, elegance, and attention to detail are the things that must come to mind. So, without further adieu, we’ll let Ella tell us the inspiration behind the Ella Divina™ brand…
My mother’s name was Divina and she named me Ella. I later found out that Ella Divina translates to “She’s Divine” in Spanish. The “ED” logo idea came by combining the first letters of our names to show the togetherness and the special bond that mothers have with their daughters. The “E” is in cursive to show the free-spirited nature that most young women possess and the “D” is in a strong print to show the strength and sternness that most mothers encompass; a well-rounded, solid, individual. The “E” is also above the “D” in order to show the sacrifice that mothers make, day in and day out, to “lift” their daughters into a better and brighter tomorrow. This is also portrayed in the “name” portion of the logo: Ella above Divina, to show that my mother is the foundation of my life. My mission is to allow women across all races, creeds, and nationalities, access to the products my mother & I designed, crafted, and that for a long time, were only available to the rich.
